Must:
We are seeking a highly motivated self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment, demonstrates initiative, and excels at independently driving projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of demonstrable experience developing solutions in a software engineering role, with an emphasis on radar system development, preferably using the TI mmWave SDK and related development tools.
Responsibilities
As a Radar Software Engineer, I will entrust you with the following key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain software for TI AWR radar systems, focusing on signal processing, radar control, and system integration.
- Implement advanced radar systems for real-time obstacle detection, avoidance, and proximity sensing during drone flight and landing.
- Design cooperative radar systems that enable drones to communicate and share data with one another, improving overall situational awareness and avoiding collisions in dense environments.
- Conduct extensive testing of radar systems in real-world scenarios (both indoor and outdoor) to ensure robustness in diverse conditions.
- Ensure adherence to relevant aviation software standards for drone operations, considering any regional or international airspace regulations.

We are looking for someone with expertise in programming languages such as C/C++ and Python, a solid understanding of radar digital signal processing, and experience with radar simulation tools. Previous experience with drone navigation systems, machine learning techniques for sensor data processing, and knowledge of aviation safety standards would be advantageous. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of drone technology while making a tangible impact on autonomous flight, safety, and efficiency in the growing field of unmanned aerial vehicles.
