Contract Solutions Architect (Home Office)

In this role, you will be responsible for functionally mapping IT and business applications, as well as network and mobile architecture structures and their interconnections. You will oversee the development of platform and applications architecture, revise specific applications architectures as needed, and aid in identifying transition steps while elaborating project plans to address any gaps. Consulting with internal IT teams to align projects with the elected architectures will be part of your duties. You will have overall accountability for architecture development, management, and delivery roadmaps. It will be essential to make critical decisions documented clearly to define direction for system implementation, operations, and maintenance, including system validation. Your role also includes ensuring alignment with all required internal and external compliance frameworks, such as TOGAF, SOX ITGC, and ISO27001. You'll need to abstract complexity of systems into manageable models, create a Systems Architecture Reference List, assess new applications for suitability, and meet with IT and the business to support documentation of business requirements. Additionally, you will assess new or revised platforms in accordance with regulatory and non-regulatory requirements and provide detailed information regarding the costs and benefits of applications or platforms. You will also work with Directors to explain the benefits and justification of investment in proposed architectures, achieved through evaluating BPR, Cost-Benefit Analysis Methods, and measuring component/architectural reuse. Finally, you will act as an 'architecture ambassador' and participate in the Change Advisory Board (CAB).
