Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with solid experience in DevOps, CI/CD, and AWS. You should have a strong background in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) within complex IT environments, complemented by software engineering experience. Proficiency in DevOps practices and technologies such as CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code tools, like Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Bicep, is essential. Familiarity with agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, along with experience in agile teams, is required. You should possess excellent knowledge of the AWS cloud platform and solid scripting and automation skills using languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana) to ensure system reliability and performance is important. Any Linux experience would be a bonus.
Responsibilities
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will drive the strategy and implementation of DevOps and SRE practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient and reliable software delivery. Establishing and maintaining best practices for infrastructure automation, configuration management, and system monitoring will be key to ensuring consistency and scalability. You will promote the adoption of agile methodologies, fostering collaboration, transparency, and iterative development. Monitoring system performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing proactive measures to enhance scalability and reliability will be part of your role. You will also implement robust incident response and disaster recovery procedures to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity. Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies while fostering a culture of innovation, learning, and knowledge sharing within the team will be crucial aspects of your responsibilities.
