Requirements
Must:
We are seeking candidates with a strong background in automation and systems integration. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Python and automation using Ansible, with familiarity in ServiceNow, GitHub workflows, and network infrastructure. Experience in network standards and modelling, specifically YANG, is essential. We prefer individuals with a background in IT Service Delivery (ITIL) and knowledge of WAN, LAN, IP management, DNS, and DHCP. Certifications such as Cisco DevNet Professional or CCNP would be an added advantage.
Responsibilities
As an Automation Developer, you will design and implement automation and integration solutions across platforms including Ansible, ServiceNow, and GitHub. Your role will involve developing Python scripts and Ansible playbooks to support system and network automation. You will also standardise and document network configurations using YANG modelling for routers and switches, integrate APIs (RESTCONF/NETCONF), and manage data formats such as XML and JSON. Additionally, you will support service documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training for operational teams.

This is a fully remote opportunity with rates that are negotiable. The initial contract runs until December 2025, with the possibility of extensions thereafter.
