Requirements
Must:
We seek a candidate with a degree-level qualification in IT or a related field, or substantial equivalent professional experience. You should have a proven ability to lead or supervise technical staff and possess strong technical knowledge across networks, servers, cloud platforms, and endpoint management. It is essential that you display values, attitudes, and behaviors consistent with the Catholic ethos of the College and demonstrate a commitment to equality, diversity, and the safeguarding of young people and vulnerable adults.
Responsibilities
As our IT Infrastructure Team Lead, I will expect you to lead our Infrastructure & Systems sub-team, managing the Infrastructure Engineers while ensuring the effective delivery of technical services. You will be accountable for the College's IT infrastructure environment, combining leadership with technical expertise. Your responsibilities will include overseeing networks, servers, cloud platforms, endpoint management, security, and the maintenance, optimization, and backup of our SQL server environment. This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring you to provide escalation support, deliver projects, and ensure that our IT services are secure, resilient, and fit for purpose.
