We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced candidate who possesses hands-on experience in supporting and managing Windows devices using Intune/Autopilot. Additionally, exposure to macOS device management through JAMF (or an equivalent MDM) is desired, along with a solid understanding of endpoint management and security best practices. You should embody values, attitudes, and behaviors consistent with the Catholic Ethos of the College and demonstrate a commitment to equality, diversity, and the safeguarding of young people and vulnerable adults.
Responsibilities
As the IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will support, maintain, and develop the College's IT infrastructure, systems, and endpoint environment, which includes networks, servers, cloud services, security, and end-user devices (Windows and macOS). Your main responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the administration of networks, WiFi, servers, storage, and firewalls.
- Assisting with the management of Azure AD, Microsoft 365, and other cloud services.
- Managing Windows devices using Intune/Autopilot.
- Managing macOS devices using JAMF (or an equivalent MDM).
- Acting as an escalation point for the Service Desk for infrastructure, systems, and endpoint issues.
- Contributing to infrastructure and systems projects led by the Infrastructure Team Lead.
- Occasionally supporting IT Technician duties during peak times, including end-user support to ensure adequate resourcing.
- Undertaking any additional duties as required, commensurate with the nature of the post.
