Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates who have proven experience as a Test Architect or in a similar role. You should have domain experience in payments, including ISO and SEPA, along with strong expertise in test automation for Android and iOS platforms. A deep understanding of Spring-based APIs and API gateways is essential. Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes is also required, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to environment stability and test automation. We seek candidates with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong communication and collaboration abilities, knowledge of test-first approaches, and optimization of the test pyramid. Expertise in contract testing frameworks and mutation testing is a plus.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will expect you to evaluate and enhance our existing test practices and frameworks, focusing on increasing automation across various platforms, including Android and iOS. You will simplify the technology landscape to ensure efficient and effective testing processes. Additionally, you’ll need to address and resolve issues related to environment stability and unstable automated tests. Collaboration with our development and operations teams to integrate testing into the CI/CD pipeline is critical. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies for end-to-end testing, ensuring comprehensive coverage. Lastly, mentoring and guiding team members on best practices in test automation and architecture will be an important part of your responsibilities.
Description
This role is a contract position with a duration until 31/12/2025, located in Knutsford with a hybrid model of 2 to 3 days a week in the office. We are offering a competitive rate of up to £506 per day, umbrella, inside IR35. Please note that we will review all profiles against the required skills and experience.
