Must:
We require a deep knowledge of high-volume SAP solutions and technical architecture, including ERP, Portal, and PI. You should possess the ability to understand business requirements and translate technical terminology into business language and vice versa. Experience with large-scale Solution Architecture is essential, along with skills in SAP system sizing and landscape design. We expect a high-level understanding of Non-Functional Requirements and the ability to clarify their impact on solutions. Additionally, a strong grasp of Functional requirements and their mapping to the technical solution is important. We seek individuals who can govern and assure the technical delivery of complex SAP implementations and possess excellent communication, influencing, and facilitation skills. The ideal candidate is proactive, assertive in their dealings with various organizational levels, and able to build and sustain collaborative working relationships. A positive attitude and the ability to deliver results under pressure are vital, along with strong presentation, leadership, and customer-facing skills at an executive level.
Responsibilities
As the SAP Technical Architect, you will work within our SAP Architecture team, responsible for understanding and elaborating client requirements to develop appropriate solutions. You will oversee architectural solutions in both individual and large-scale delivery projects, ensuring that technical solutions are delivered as originally defined and align with our overall architecture strategy. Collaboration with Functional Consultants and Project Managers is essential to scope work and understand the overall business processes and functional requirements. You will manage the agreed technical scope throughout the project, ensuring alignment with functional scope and design. Taking ownership of architectural solutions and non-functional requirements is crucial to maintaining adherence to processes, policies, best practices, and consistency with the client's vision. You will review and scope technical/infrastructure projects to assess feasibility and ensure a consistent approach to technical and templated functional solutions, contributing to the refinement of our Enterprise Architecture. Additionally, you will manage technical relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
Description
This is a 6-month opportunity based in Telford or Worthing (hybrid working). The position offers a maximum rate of £660 via Umbrella and candidates must be eligible for SC clearance (holding it is not required).
