Requirements
Must:
- I require a minimum of 5 years of experience as a SQL Developer or in a similar role.
- I need a strong understanding of ETL concepts, Microsoft SQL Server, and T-SQL programming.
- You should have experience in developing visualizations using Power BI.
- A demonstrable understanding of the concepts for designing and implementing data warehouse solutions is essential.
- Familiarity with Kimball Methodologies is important.
- I seek a critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience with cloud technologies and data science approaches would be advantageous.
Responsibilities
- I will expect you to manage and deliver ETL development using SSIS, ensuring compliance with relevant processes and quality requirements.
- You will develop, implement, and optimize SQL queries, procedures, functions, views, and triggers.
- It will be your responsibility to test, deploy, and maintain SQL projects and fixes in line with best practices.
- You will produce reports and dashboards using Power BI, reviewing and validating data to ensure accuracy.
- I anticipate that you will support business users in adopting and engaging with our data department's outputs.
- You will need to liaise with client contacts to gather and implement Management Information (MI) requirements as part of new business implementations.
Description
This position is instrumental in shaping the strategic operating model of our clients' data department. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and oversee the entire design and implementation of the enterprise-wide Data Warehouse solution.
