Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as a backend developer in a cloud-native or SaaS environment for 3+ years.
- Strong knowledge of PHP, ideally with experience using Laravel 12 or similar frameworks.
- Experience working with relational databases (e.g. MySQL).
- Understanding of API development and integration (RESTful APIs).
- Familiarity with Git version control.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum teams.
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines (desirable).
- Knowledge of Docker and containerized environments (a bonus).
- Comfortable using cloud platforms like AWS or similar (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Build and improve backend systems for new and existing web applications.
- Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members to deliver full-stack features.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using PHP (Laravel or similar frameworks).
- Support cloud-based deployment and infrastructure management.
- Troubleshoot issues, debug code, and fix bugs as they arise.
- Contribute to improving system performance and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and share feedback with the team.
- Help shape and maintain API integrations with third-party services.
- Stay updated with best practices and emerging technologies.
