Requirements
Must:
- You should have a degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- A background in FinTech, SaaS, or finance is essential with proven on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Experience in test case execution and defect tracking is necessary.
- You must have a strong understanding of development phases and change control.
- Proficiency in intermediate MS SQL, data querying, manipulation, SQL performance tuning, and SSRS/Power BI is required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment are essential.
Responsibilities
- You will deploy and configure financial management software and perform comprehensive testing.
- Customizing code to meet specific requirements while ensuring timely and quality delivery will be part of your role.
- You will execute unit and end-to-end tests to validate system integration and functionality.
- Reviewing team members' code and configurations for accuracy and compliance will be your responsibility.
- Preparing and validating software releases for deployment is also a key task.
- Investigating and resolving defects reported during acceptance testing is expected.
- Lastly, you will develop and test patches to address defects and change requests.
Description
We are offering a hybrid work model based in Glasgow or Edinburgh, allowing flexibility with two days in the office each week. The salary for this position is up to £52,000, along with a competitive benefits package. We do not provide sponsorship for this role.
