Requirements
Must:
- I require solid experience with Java development and engineering APIs, as well as integrating them into a complex business environment.
- Experience with MongoDB (preferably) or other database technologies is essential.
- I seek strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Other highly valued skills include experience with Data Quality tools and techniques, Jenkins, Git (Bitbucket), and JavaScript.
- The ability to coach and guide junior team members is highly desirable.
- I will assess candidates on critical skills relevant for success in this role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, and job-specific technical skills.
Responsibilities
- I expect you to design, develop, and improve software, utilizing various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for my customers and colleagues.
- You will be responsible for the development and delivery of high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
- Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance is a key focus.
- You will collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
- Participation in code reviews and promoting a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing is essential.
- I expect you to stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations, actively contributing to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
- Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities and protect sensitive data will be required.
- Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability is expected.
Description
