To be successful as a CyberArk IAM Engineer, I believe you will need the following skills and experiences:
- A strong understanding of CyberArk application (Operational and Implementation).
- In-depth knowledge of Plugin and PSM Connector development to manage passwords for different applications.
- A solid background in Information Security principles and controls.
- A strong focus on driving successful delivery and implementation of key enterprise initiatives related to Privileged Identity and Access Management technologies.
- Decision-making abilities, particularly during major incidents or outages, including managing communications to impacted stakeholders and providing rationale for decisions taken.
- A good understanding of controls.
You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in this role, such as risk and controls, strategic thinking in digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
Responsibilities
In the role of CyberArk IAM Engineer, I will hold the following accountabilities:
- Provide subject matter expertise on security systems and engineering patterns.
- Develop and implement protocols, algorithms, and software applications to protect sensitive data and systems.
- Manage and protect secrets, ensuring they are securely generated, stored, and used.
- Execute audits to monitor, identify, and assess vulnerabilities in our infrastructure/software and support responses to potential security breaches.
- Identify advancements to support the innovation and adoption of new cryptographic technologies and techniques.
- Collaborate across the organization, including working alongside developers and security teams, to ensure that cryptographic solutions align with business objectives, security policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop, implement, and maintain Identity and Access Management solutions and systems.
Description
This role will be based out of our Knutsford campus. As an Assistant Vice President, we will expect you to advise and influence decision-making, contribute to policy development, and take responsibility for operational effectiveness. Collaboration with other functions and business divisions is crucial.
