- Alliance Connect
- Alliance Gateway
- Alliance Web Platform
- Alliance Messaging Hub
- Alliance Access
- HSM
- Transaction Delivery Agent
Essential Criteria:
- Strong analytical and technical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to support production and UAT financial messaging systems
- Experience managing major IT incidents and coordinating operational activities
- Ability to produce clear and concise technical documentation
- Superb communication skills and stakeholder engagement
- Ability to work under stress and prioritize effectively
- Awareness of risk and commitment to protecting live services
- Willingness to provide out-of-hours support, including Bank Holidays
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience with:
- SWIFT Security Officer
- SWIFT O2M
- IBM MQ Client
- Windows and Linux platforms
Responsibilities
As a Senior SWIFT Configuration Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting our critical financial messaging systems. You’ll provide technical leadership for our SWIFT services, ensuring the smooth operation of systems that underpin the UK’s financial infrastructure. In your day-to-day work, you will monitor and support our live and UAT SWIFT environments, resolve technical issues, coordinate operational activities such as failover tests and security reviews, and proactively manage major incidents.
You’ll contribute to service improvement initiatives by identifying ways to reduce support calls, improve processes, and empower first-line teams. Throughout your day, you will engage with a range of partners, document your work clearly, and promote a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Additionally, you will provide out-of-hours support as needed, including on Bank Holidays, to maintain the resilience of our financial messaging systems.
Description
This role is part of the Financial Systems Solutions (FSS) team within the Applications & Product Engineering division. The FSS team supports our SWIFT product estate, which is essential to services such as the UK’s Real-Time Gross Settlement System (RTGS), processing approximately £650 billion in payments daily. Your efforts will directly support our mission to maintain monetary and financial stability by ensuring the performance and resilience of our financial messaging infrastructure.
