Requirements
Must:
- Proficient in Kotlin for backend development
- Experience with Spring Boot/Spring
- Skilled in REST API development
- Familiarity with SOAP and JSON
- Desirable experience with AWS, JSON/XML, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, Node.js, RabbitMQ, and PostgreSQL
Responsibilities
In this fully hands-on position, you will join a small team of 8 as a Mid-Level backend Kotlin Developer. You will be writing code in Kotlin for our API-based systems, serving some of the biggest players in the airline industry. Your work will span the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), including architectural and design discussions. You will collaborate with the team to define, build, iterate, and test core products, as well as develop new features for our API-based product. Our technology stack includes Kotlin as the primary language, supported by a Spring/Spring Boot microservices architecture hosted on AWS. You will work alongside like-minded and creative developers to improve and build innovative solutions.
Description
We are a small but rapidly growing, multinational software house on a mission to revolutionize the airline industry. As we scale, we are looking for candidates who seek progression opportunities and the chance to make a direct and meaningful impact. We operate on a remote basis, with meet-ups in London every 4-6 weeks. The salary for this position is up to £65,000, plus equity, fully remote working, and 25 days holiday (in addition to bank holidays).
