Cyber Defense Consultant

We are looking for candidates who have the following skills and experiences: - Expertise in designing, building, and commissioning Microsoft Sentinel solutions. - Proficiency in analyzing and remediating issues using Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Defender for Cloud. - Experience in handling Level 2 security incidents using Microsoft Sentinel. - Strong background in infrastructure security. - Knowledge of Microsoft Sentinel architecture and deployment, including multi-tenant SIEM architecture, Sentinel analytics rules, workbooks, and playbooks. - Experience with Azure Logic Apps, including creating, running, and troubleshooting. - Ability to perform threat modeling and respond effectively to security incidents. - Experience in remediating security vulnerabilities within Azure-hosted environments. - Familiarity with agile methodologies and contributing to backlog items, such as Microsoft Defender for Cloud outputs. - Understanding of complex cyber defense issues and ability to troubleshoot and implement solutions. - Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders. - Experience as a Microsoft security operations analyst, focusing on rapid remediation of active attacks and improvements to threat protection practices. - Skills in performing triage, responding to incidents, and mitigating risks through exposure management. - Proficiency in threat hunting using tools such as Microsoft Defender XDR, Security Copilot, and Microsoft Sentinel. - Strong command of Kusto Query Language (KQL) for reporting, detections, and investigations. - Ability to define and implement security standards in collaboration with business and security leadership to enhance organizational security posture. - Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Azure cloud services, Windows, Linux, and mobile operating systems.
