Requirements
Must:
We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer or Senior IT Support Engineer who can start immediately. You should have experience working with Windows Server 2022, VMware, and some familiarity with Azure. Knowledge of Office 365, Azure Active Directory, and Firewalls/Security is essential. Experience with Cisco networking is ideal but not necessary. Scripting skills, particularly in PowerShell for automation, and Power BI or reporting skills would also be beneficial. Excellent communication skills are necessary as you will work both on-site and off-site as required.
Responsibilities
In this contract role, you will work on the design of new implementations and projects, as well as business-as-usual (BAU) tasks. The role is primarily based in Derby, where you will be onsite for the first three weeks to familiarize yourself with the complex environment and meet the team. Following this initial period, the on-site requirement will be relaxed. You will be expected to contribute actively to various technology environments, demonstrating your ability to engage in hands-on tasks and projects.
Description
This is a contract position lasting six months, outside of IR35, with a daily rate of £325. There may be an opportunity for a six-month extension. You will be required to work through a Limited company. We are seeking proactive engineers who are ready to roll up their sleeves and dive into the work.
