Requirements
Must:
We require a strong hands-on experience in Scala and functional programming. You should have experience with big data frameworks like Spark and Hadoop, as well as streaming technologies such as Kafka. Additionally, a solid understanding of banking and financial services processes, including payments, risk, compliance, and trading, is essential. Familiarity with microservices architecture, REST APIs, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is also necessary. Lastly, strong problem-solving and analytical skills are a must.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will design and develop Scala-based applications for banking systems. You will work with functional programming, Akka, Spark, and Kafka to facilitate real-time processing. It will be your responsibility to build APIs and integrate them with core banking, payment, and regulatory systems. You will also focus on optimizing application performance, reliability, and security, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business-critical solutions.
