Must:
I am looking for an IT Support Technician who has a full driving licence and is a car owner, as there will be travel within the UK. You need to have previous experience in IT support and possess a solid understanding of a range of different IT systems and software programs. Good people skills and a passion for technology are essential.
Responsibilities
As an IT Support Technician, I will rely on you to provide high-quality IT support via phone and email on our helpdesk. You will manage incoming tickets, take corrective actions, and escalate any complicated issues to the appropriate IT resource when necessary. I expect you to take a proactive approach to housekeeping tasks to enhance security and minimize the risk of future issues. You will also create, manage, and maintain user accounts and access permissions using Active Directory, Office 365, and other platforms. Additionally, you'll assist with PC moves, setups, configurations, and improvements, while taking ownership of our IT inventory to ensure it is always up to date. You will liaise with our IT suppliers to escalate issues and implement updates and improvements.
Description
This is a permanent, full-time position based fully in the office from Monday to Friday in central Staplehurst. We are continuing to grow and need a qualified and tech-savvy IT Support Technician with experience in Active Directory, Office 365, and helpdesk support to join our friendly team. You will be the first point of contact for our sites across the UK for all IT issues and requests, traveling to our sites to implement new technology and resolve issues. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone experienced in IT support, who truly loves technology and is looking for the next step in their career.
