Requirements
Must:
- I seek candidates with expertise in C# .Net Core backend development and experience in developing highly available, scalable systems.
- A deep knowledge of Azure cloud-based services is essential.
- Strong understanding of SaaS and cloud deployment is required.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably with Pulumi, but Terraform experience is acceptable.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker at scale, along with a good understanding of modern microservices is necessary.
- I look for individuals who have experience leading technical projects and promoting best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
Responsibilities
- As a Principal Backend Software Engineer, you will take a lead role in our team, working on our flagship SaaS insurance platform that manages 4 billion requests per month.
- You will focus on delivering the evolution of backend services that support large-scale calculation systems.
- This role requires a hands-on approach while also helping to set standards and providing technical project leadership within an Agile development environment that encourages close collaboration.
Description
- We offer a flexible work-from-home hybrid model, allowing you to join colleagues in the Reigate office twice a week for team meet-ups and stakeholder meetings.
- In this role, you will earn a competitive salary package of up to £95k, along with a bonus (approximately 20%), 25 days of holiday (with the option to buy more), pension, healthcare, life assurance, enhanced maternity/paternity packages, and opportunities for professional training and career development.
