Requirements
Must:
- I seek someone with expertise in C# .Net Core backend software development and experience working on large, scalable systems with complexity.
- You should be an advocate for creating clean, reusable, and maintainable code, with a solid understanding of modern Microsoft software engineering best practices.
- A strong knowledge of Azure and SaaS is essential, along with a good understanding of security and IAM in Azure.
- I expect you to have a thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, Data Structures, Design Patterns, and Algorithms.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is also important.
- Likely candidates will have a degree in a relevant STEM discipline.
Responsibilities
- As a Backend Software Engineer, you will join our team responsible for our flagship SaaS insurance platform that handles 4 billion requests per month.
- You will play a key role in designing and developing new features and enhancements while ensuring high levels of security, reliability, maintainability, usability, and performance.
- Collaboration will be key; you will work with the Product Owner and other development teams in an Agile environment that encourages close collaboration and continual improvement.

- We offer a flexible work-from-home hybrid model, where you'll join colleagues in the Reigate office twice a week for team meet-ups and stakeholder meetings, while working from home the other three days.
