Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a candidate with commercial experience in modern programming languages and a strong understanding of software development principles. Demonstrable experience with MVC frameworks and/or modern JavaScript frameworks is essential. Additionally, we highly value (and encourage learning in) the following areas:
- Accessibility best practices and standards for front-end development
- Testing frameworks
- Software design best practices
- Source control, specifically Git
Responsibilities
As a Senior Software Developer, you will actively participate in pair programming, white-boarding sessions, and architectural discussions. You will collaborate closely with both technical and non-technical colleagues, ensuring that every line of code is peer-reviewed for the highest quality. You will work within our agile environment, utilizing the Scrum framework to deliver continuous value to our customers. Your role will involve integrating seamlessly with product owners to prepare sprint work, collaborating with account managers to optimize customer experience, and partnering with operations to guarantee stable and high-performing applications.
