We expect our Senior Front End Developers to possess strong proficiency in building responsive, pixel-perfect websites using modern front-end frameworks such as Vue 3, Nuxt 3, Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and Tailwind CSS. Familiarity with Vue Storefront and the Scayle Ecommerce platform is an added advantage. Candidates should have proven experience in developing enterprise-grade front-end applications in a fast-paced, agile environment, along with a strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility, performance optimization, and browser rendering behaviors.
Experience with front-end build tools, testing frameworks (like Cypress, Jest, or Vitest), and CI/CD pipelines is essential. Strong API integration skills, including consuming and integrating RESTful and GraphQL APIs, as well as a solid understanding of security mechanisms are necessary. Proficiency with development tools such as Visual Studio, VS Code, Git, and GitHub is expected. We also value knowledge of SEO principles, structured data, content delivery strategies, security best practices, accessibility standards, and GDPR & PECR compliance. Familiarity with backlog management tools like Azure DevOps or Jira is a plus.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Front End Developer, I will expect you to implement scalable, secure, performant, and accessible front-end solutions using HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks (e.g., Vue 3, Nuxt 3, TypeScript). You will translate UX designs and prototypes into production-ready code with pixel-perfect precision while integrating front-end components with APIs and backend services to ensure seamless data flow and performance. You will champion front-end best practices, including testing, CI/CD, performance optimization, and accessibility compliance.
Conducting code reviews, engaging in pair programming, and providing technical mentoring for junior developers will be part of your role. Collaboration with Product Owners, Platform Leads, UX/UI Designers, QA, and Backend teams to deliver cohesive, customer-centric solutions will be essential. Additionally, you will work with DevOps to monitor website performance, Core Web Vitals, and user behavior analytics to proactively identify and resolve issues.
