We are looking for candidates with proven Business Analyst experience, specifically in implementing ERP systems, Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and reporting solutions. You should have worked within a team of Business Analysts on various project sizes and possess an understanding of the full Business Analysis role in project lifecycles, including Pre-Project, Scoping, Estimating, Mapping, Stakeholder Analysis, Requirements Gathering, Solution Analysis, Product Analysis, User Acceptance Testing, and Release Management. The ideal candidate will have the ability to articulate technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences, possess excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to identify and resolve issues experienced by customers and end users. We expect you to thrive in challenging environments, influence strategic decision-making, and meet tight deadlines. Experience in business process modeling and optimization tools and techniques is essential, alongside a proven track record of building rapport with a range of stakeholders to ensure a user-centric experience.
Responsibilities
As part of the wider Business Analysis Team, you will optimize business requirements and convert them into technical requirements. Your responsibilities will include producing end-to-end, customer-facing business process models (As Is, To Be, and transitional states) to support our digital transformation initiatives. You will engage in data modeling to analyze suggestions for strategic and operational improvements, identifying areas for automation by re-engineering business processes. You will evaluate internal functions, business development strategies, and IT processes to recommend improvements and collect, understand, and document business requirements, translating these into functional specifications and detailed test plans. Additionally, you will perform route-to-market and implementation planning, ensure solutions are adequately tested and signed off before implementation, work with project stakeholders to investigate feedback, and support the Lead BA in maintaining standards and ways of working. You will contribute to our digital strategy by optimizing business operations and integrating information applications while understanding the organization's ecosystems and maintaining business analysis principles and standards.
Description
This position is a crucial part of ensuring our organization continually develops and maintains strong relationships between the Digital and Data Team and the broader business. The role is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract, with the location at 16 Summer Lane, Birmingham, B19 3SD, requiring at least 2 days a week in the office.
