Requirements
Must:
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), specifically BigQuery and Dataflow
- Proficiency in DBT, Terraform, Airflow (Composer)
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL
- Previous experience in building and maintaining data pipelines
- Familiarity with data modeling and ETL processes
- Ability to work within a collaborative team environment
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and workflows in GCP
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure high-quality data is available
- Implement best practices for data management and governance
- Monitor performance and optimize data processes
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning
- Provide support and troubleshooting for data-related issues
Description
We are a growing, data-driven organization focusing on building a modern Data Platform following a successful migration from on-premise to Google Cloud. Our team is well-established within the Data Office, and we are committed to creating an environment that fosters collaboration and innovation. This remote position allows flexibility, with occasional meetings in London, Leeds, or Preston, providing a competitive salary range of £45,000–£55,000.
