Must:
We are looking for an enthusiastic PHP Developer with experience in web development technologies, including PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Git. It would be beneficial if you have experience with PHP outside of frameworks and have worked within a large application codebase. We prioritize strong organizational skills, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to collaborate with others. A willingness to learn and the ability to remain composed under pressure are also essential qualities.
Responsibilities
As our PHP Developer, your duties will include:
- Building and maintaining our organization's back-end platform.
- Writing clean, understandable code.
- Contributing to the planning of digital projects.
- Leading all phases of the development lifecycle.
- Working with key stakeholders to understand the needs of both the organization and our users.
- Providing technical resources to integrate all our digital systems.
Description
We offer a competitive salary ranging from £30,250 to £34,545 per annum, in addition to a hybrid working model that requires a minimum of 3 days per week in our office on Highfield Campus in Southampton. As part of our team, you will enjoy a 35-hour working week, 46 days off annually, including 30 days of your choosing, 8 bank holidays, and several closure days throughout the year. We also provide a defined contributions pension scheme where we contribute 10%, discounted bus passes, and opportunities to participate in our wellbeing and social activities.
