Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates with strong server-side JavaScript (Vanilla JS) skills and solid experience with TypeScript. A good understanding of build tools such as Gulp (or similar) is essential, along with knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3. Previous experience in online publishing, video players, or media environments is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be developing backend systems using Vanilla JavaScript and TypeScript. You will have the opportunity to build a brand-new video streaming player from scratch and deliver multiple greenfield projects across publishing and digital media. You will work in a small, agile, cross-functional team and will have significant influence on technical decisions.

This position is fully remote, offering flexible working for UK-based candidates. We provide a competitive salary, with up to £70k for Senior Developers and around £50k for Mid-level positions. You will have the opportunity to shape architecture from the ground up on greenfield projects within a supportive and collaborative team culture. This role is ideal for a Backend JavaScript / TypeScript Developer, Vanilla JS Engineer, or TypeScript Backend Developer who wants to make a real impact in building new products.
