Requirements
Must:
I am looking for a candidate with proven experience managing SQL Server environments, both on-premise and cloud-based. You should have a strong understanding of Azure-hosted databases and cloud architecture. Familiarity with Redgate tools and database monitoring solutions is essential. Additionally, I expect you to have the ability to work independently and take ownership of technical challenges, along with excellent communication and documentation skills.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing database resilience, including replication, backups, key configurations, and slow-running queries. You will assess the SQL Server estate to highlight risks and opportunities, creating a roadmap for improvement. Evaluating the pros and cons of future migration efforts will be part of your duties, as well as reviewing and improving existing documentation, governance tools, and DBA repositories.

I am offering a competitive salary of up to £75,000 depending on experience, along with a hybrid working model based at our headquarters just outside Bradford.
