Requirements
Must:
- Strong commercial experience with SQL Server and complex reporting
- Proven experience delivering end-to-end BI solutions
- Hands-on Power BI expertise (Desktop, Service, DAX, Power Query)
- Experience supporting system or platform migrations
- Confident stakeholder engagement and ability to work independently
Responsibilities
- Rewrite, optimise, and validate SQL-based reports for a new hire platform
- Translate legacy reporting logic into clean, performant, well-documented SQL
- Design and deliver Power BI dashboards using strong data modelling and DAX
- Ensure data accuracy, reconciliation, and report parity across platforms
- Establish Power BI standards, security (RLS), and governance
- Work closely with stakeholders across finance, operations, sales, and leadership
- Support rollout, user enablement, and platform stabilisation
Description
We are a UK-based hire business currently undergoing a major platform migration and we are looking for an experienced SQL & BI Reporting Developer to lead our delivery of a new reporting capability.
