Must:
We are looking for candidates with extensive hands-on experience in Python, showcasing a strong grasp of Core Python concepts. You must also have proven expertise in deploying Python applications using CI/CD and proficiency in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines in Cloud environments. Excellent practical expertise in performance tuning and system optimization is essential. Familiarity with PySpark and Azure Databricks for distributed data processing and large-scale data analysis is required. Additionally, experience with web frameworks, particularly Django and Flask, along with a solid understanding of APIs, is crucial. Banking domain experience is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will develop and maintain data interfaces to connect various systems within the bank. You will be responsible for solid architecture and design, ensuring scalable and efficient systems. Leading the development of MVPs, you will ensure timely delivery and alignment with business goals. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be key as you work to build and enhance banking applications. You will also work closely with UI/UX designers to seamlessly integrate visualizations into web applications or other platforms.
Description
This is a permanent role based in central London, with hybrid working expectations of 3 days per week on-site. We are eager to hear from experienced Senior Python Developers, and an immediate start is desirable, ideally in May 2025. Please note that only candidates who are SC eligible or active SC holders will be considered for this position.
