Requirements
Must:
We are looking for strong commercial experience with .NET (Core/Framework) and C#, including proficiency in LINQ, JSON, and Inversion of Control. You should have a solid understanding of API design, with REST and GraphQL being desirable. Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, is essential. A good knowledge of software design principles, including SOLID, clean architecture, and microservices, is also required. You must have a solid understanding of the fundamentals of Event-Driven Architecture, including the roles of APIs, Webhooks, and Integration Platforms such as Zapier and make.it. Understanding the principles behind Infrastructure as Code, ideally using Terraform, and its application in CI/CD Pipeline-based deployment is important. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment are a must.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and APIs using .NET and C#. You will provide solutions for a diverse range of web technologies such as Next.js and React.js, as well as Native App technologies including iOS and Android. You will contribute to system architecture discussions and solution design, write clean, testable, and maintainable code following best practices, and collaborate with frontend developers, QA, and product teams to deliver robust solutions. Additionally, optimizing performance and ensuring security across applications will be part of your responsibilities.

We are partnering with a luxury property and leisure company, looking for a Backend Developer to join us on a full-time basis. This role offers the exciting opportunity to work within a smaller IT function, providing full autonomy across the backend suite. The position is located in Central London, requiring onsite presence five days a week. The salary range for this role is £80,000-£90,000.
