Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates who have extensive knowledge of AWS services, including Lambda, EKS, EMR, and related cloud components. You should have experience in ETL design and implementation, as well as Tableau integration with AWS services. Familiarity with Avaloq and private banking systems is preferred. A strong expertise in infrastructure-as-code, scripting (Python/Bash), Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm charts is essential. You should also have experience with Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines. A demonstrated ability to design secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud architectures, along with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, is required.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance AWS cloud infrastructure in line with banking standards. You will re-envision the current data warehouse estate into a data products/marketplace model leveraging AWS/Snowflake. You will review and enhance existing AWS infrastructure components to improve performance and efficiency. Additionally, you will design and implement ETL pipelines using AWS EMR for efficient data processing and integrate Tableau with AWS services for seamless reporting and data visualization. You will design and deploy containerized UI applications using microservices architecture on Amazon EKS. Applying infrastructure-as-code principles using Terraform and Ansible, you will implement CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins. You will also utilize scripting tools such as Python/Bash and container orchestration with Helm charts and Docker. Furthermore, you will implement and monitor cloud security best practices across AWS environments and provide technical leadership, guidance, and architecture recommendations to the development team throughout the project lifecycle.

We are seeking an experienced AWS Solution Architect to join our technical team on a 6-month contract, with a day rate of £467.50 (Inside IR35).
