Requirements
Must:
- Strong engineering background in electrical or control systems.
- Proficiency in C# and Visual Studio; experience with VB6 is beneficial.
- Familiarity with automation systems, including sensors, actuators, and inverters.
- A degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation, or Robotics Engineering, along with proven experience in automation.
- Willingness to work on customer sites occasionally.
- A full UK driving licence is required.
Responsibilities
- Develop and modify C# control software using Visual Studio and CADET API.
- Support legacy VB6 systems and diagnose and resolve software, electrical, and mechanical issues in automated systems.
- Interface with third-party equipment using protocols such as Ethernet, Serial, EtherCAT, CAN, and Profibus.
- Develop automation sequences and tests utilizing CADET tools.
- Provide remote and on-site support for customers and engineers.
- Collaborate with design and commissioning engineers to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Manage source code through SourceTree, BitBucket, and Jira.
