Solution Architect

- Active SC Clearance is required for this role. - I seek a Solutions Architect with a solid understanding of both proprietary and open-source technologies across various Microsoft and Linux-based deployments, including physical, virtual, and containerised compute. - You should have a good grasp of software and infrastructure design considerations, and be comfortable collaborating with engineers to understand and guide the datacentre environment for application deployment. - Deep experience in architectural functions and the ability to lead the development of vision, principles, and strategies for products, projects, and technologies are crucial. - You must have experience in creating technical standards, blueprints, reference architectures, roadmaps, transition states, and target solutions across multiple services. - Familiarity with cloud solutions across major providers (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP, Oracle) is essential, alongside expertise in optimising and automating deployments for security, performance, and cost-effectiveness. - Proven ability to manage and influence stakeholders across various disciplines is critical, especially in advocating for a long-term technical vision aligned with business strategy. - Exceptional communication skills are necessary to translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
