Requirements
Must:
- Qualification in an ICT discipline or equivalent IT operational experience
- Strong experience working in a Microsoft Windows environment
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when needed
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Full UK driving licence (including Category B) to travel across Norfolk & Suffolk
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for end-user computing systems
- Work across both Norfolk and Suffolk to implement ICT projects
- Maintain compliance with ICT policies and financial year commitments
- Perform advanced diagnostics to resolve complex hardware and software issues
- Maintain and update the ICT Asset Register
Description
We are excited to offer the opportunity for an ICT End User Computing Engineer to join the Suffolk Constabulary's ICT team, based in Ipswich. In this role, you will support both Norfolk and Suffolk police forces and play a key part in delivering high-priority mobile device technical refresh programmes. This position is a 52-week temporary assignment with a commitment of 37 hours per week. Please note that this role falls inside IR35 and requires travel to multiple locations using Constabulary vehicles.
