Requirements
Must:
We require candidates to have at least 6 years of relevant software engineering experience. You should possess a proven ability to take ownership by identifying and resolving underlying challenges, ensuring lasting solutions rather than simply completing tasks. Full-stack experience is crucial; you should have built and shipped web applications across our stack and be adaptable to new tools as needed. Engaging in product collaboration early on is essential, ensuring that problems are clear, measurable, and grounded in reality. We value those who look for pragmatic ways to leverage generative AI to gain an edge in both product development and implementation. Proficiency in using product analytics tools like PostHog to validate functional components is necessary. Additionally, strong communication skills are vital for explaining ideas, writing concisely, and focusing on what matters. You must demonstrate the ability to adapt quickly and help others do the same. Independent work with sound judgment is essential, and you should know when to involve others to maintain visibility and alignment. A degree-level qualification in software, engineering, or a similar field is expected.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will collaborate with the product team to define problems clearly and make success measurable. You'll be responsible for rapidly prototyping solutions, validating them with users, and shipping your work while keeping feedback tight and progress aligned. Your tasks will include building and shipping modern full-stack JavaScript applications using frameworks such as React, Typescript, Node, SQL, and DynamoDB. You will also design and implement scalable serverless infrastructure using AWS tools like Lambda, SQS, SNS, SES, and ECS, with infrastructure-as-code managed through SST. Additionally, you will utilize modern AI-native tools to speed up development, create smarter user experiences, and accelerate the delivery of better product experiences. Tracking success through product analytics tools will be crucial for validating what works and improving what doesn't. You'll write clear and purposeful documentation that spreads product knowledge, shortens onboarding, and helps your teammates get up to speed quickly. Contributing to team growth through reviews, pairing, shared tools, and consistent feedback will also be part of your role. Furthermore, you will collaborate with the data team to integrate machine learning models or surface insights through the application when necessary.
