As a candidate for the Senior Data Analyst position at Saga, you should have:
- Proven experience in an analytical role, showcasing a track record of successful project delivery.
- The ability to analyze complex data challenges, identify solutions, and implement effective strategies.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in statistical analysis and data visualization tools.
- Experience with analytics tools such as SQL, Python, and Tableau.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex analytical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in an agile development environment, focusing on iterative and collaborative project delivery.
- A curious nature and the drive to learn and master new technologies and methods.
- Ideally, a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or Business Analytics.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Data Analyst at Saga, your main duties will include:
- Developing and overseeing the analysis of large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights relevant to our business objectives.
- Creating and delivering clear and impactful reports and visualizations to communicate key findings to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborating closely with business stakeholders and technical colleagues to understand analytical requirements and integrate insights into existing workflows and applications.
- Ensuring the quality and integrity of data used for analysis by implementing and maintaining data governance best practices and collaborating with IT and data teams to resolve data quality issues.
- Demonstrating experience in working in an agile environment, participating in sprint planning, and adapting to changing priorities.
- Staying informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analytics, and finding ways to implement relevant ones at Saga to unlock business value.
