Requirements
Must:
We require a proven experience in business readiness within a large-scale migration project or program. While experience in the insurance industry is advantageous, it is not essential. Additionally, you should demonstrate the following skills and experiences:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Proven experience in effective communication at various levels.
- A natural curiosity and willingness to provide constructive challenges when needed.
- A solid working knowledge of Business Analyst practices or transferable skills applicable to the role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (knowledge of Visio and Draw.io is a plus).
- Relevant project or business analyst qualifications.
- Proven capability in gathering and documenting requirements.
- Proven experience in process modeling.
Responsibilities
As our Business Readiness Analyst, you will be accountable for defining the business readiness criteria tracked as part of the Go live and Go/No Go processes. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Creation of a business readiness tracker and managing tracking activities.
- Developing a Go/No Go business readiness dashboard.
- Capturing, interpreting, and translating business requirements from change owners and subject matter experts into acceptance criteria for user stories, facilitating change delivery through sprint cycles and other change methodologies.
- Analyzing business data to identify trends and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Facilitating effective workshops and meetings by asking the right questions to extract requirements and solutions.
- Engineering business processes with efficiency and lean disciplines for approved change.
- Reporting and tracking project progress, identifying and escalating blockers when necessary.
- Maintaining a business solution-focused mindset by evaluating multiple options and recommending paths forward.
- Identifying system and operational process gaps and raising them proactively to the relevant department for change requests.
- Maintaining knowledge of project and change lifecycles.
- Collaborating with project managers and Scrum teams within Change where additional analysis is required.
- Cultivating strong relationships with internal and external personnel to ensure task completion.
- Ensuring that actions, risks, issues, and decisions are logged appropriately against change items as per best practice requirements.
