Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of one year's recent experience working in a technical help desk or IT service desk, or first line support role.
- Proficiency in Windows 10 & 11 support and management.
- Experience with administration of MS Office 365, MS Exchange, and MS SharePoint.
- Proficient in Active Directory management, including user and computer management.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues involving third-party software in a timely manner.
- Experience in laptop and desktop hardware support and repair.
- Familiarity with mobile phone configuration and support for both iOS and Android devices.
- Basic networking support skills, including structured cabling patching.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will report to the SDA Lead and provide a range of 1st and 2nd line services. This includes acting as the first point of customer contact and managing ongoing service requests through their lifecycle to closure. You will be responsible for providing a customer-sensitive and responsive service while adopting a systematic, disciplined, and analytical approach to handling faults and service requests. Your primary focus will be to assist the current team with a backlog of tickets and provide desktop support.
Description
We currently have a contract vacancy near Bedworth, primarily due to sickness within the team. Our goal is to manage the workload effectively to ensure that service level agreements (SLAs) are not impacted. This position is expected to be a one-month rolling contract, likely extending to three months, with an onsite requirement for the duration.
