Requirements
Must:
I am looking for a UI/UX Engineer with a minimum of 2+ years of commercial experience in designing web and mobile applications. A Bachelor's degree in design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is essential. You should have a strong portfolio that showcases your design thinking, UX research, wireframes, prototypes, design systems, and interface design skills. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and strong knowledge of HTML, CSS (SASS/LESS), and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue) is required. Experience with front-end performance optimization, responsive design principles, and familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and cross-browser compatibility are also necessary. Furthermore, an understanding of version control tools (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps), excellent communication skills, and a proactive mindset with curiosity, creativity, and attention to detail are important. You should possess strong problem-solving skills and a user-focused mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and adapt to fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities
In this role, I expect you to conduct user research, usability testing, and analysis to inform and validate design decisions, ensuring our products meet customer expectations and continuously improve based on user insights. You will lead the end-to-end design process, from ideation and creating user-flows to developing interactive prototypes and high-fidelity UI designs, ensuring alignment with business goals. Additionally, you will implement responsive and accessible user interfaces and work closely with stakeholders, product owners, and developers to ensure the smooth implementation of UI designs, bridging the gap between design intent and technical feasibility. Your responsibilities will also include developing and maintaining design systems, style guides, and reusable UI components, as well as optimizing front-end performance and UI interactions to enhance user experience across various devices and platforms. Staying updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices is crucial as you apply them to enhance our UI/UX processes.
Description
This is a fully remote, permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary, and you will report to the Senior UI/UX Engineer. I believe this role offers an exciting opportunity for a designer who thrives on transforming complex service flows into simple, human-centered experiences while shaping user experiences through innovative UI/UX solutions. I foster a dynamic and supportive work environment, with opportunities for professional development and growth for all team members.
