Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in a similar role as a Solution Architect.
- Strong ability to communicate with all levels of stakeholders.
- Expertise in defining architectural functional and non-functional requirements, architectural diagrams, data flows, total cost of ownership, standards, and design patterns.
- Experience with Azure and AWS cloud platforms, as well as on-premise and hybrid environments.
- A background in application development/architecture would be a distinct advantage.
- Commercially astute with a curiosity to question, suggest alternatives, and drive continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the solution architectures, including 'as is', 'to be', and transitional states.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with the architecture strategy, vision, and principles.
- Communicate solution architectures at the governing architecture review board and address any actions.
- Work closely with Software Engineering to ensure implementation alignment with the solution.
- Manage architectural risk and debt at a solution level.
Description
We are looking for a Solution Architect - Cloud to join our team in a remote capacity. This is a full-time position with a salary of up to £75,000. In this role, you will demonstrate excellent skills in solution architecture and play a crucial part in defining architectural requirements and designing solutions that align with our business goals.
