Requirements
Must:
We are looking for an IT Support Engineer with experience in systems and service desk support. You should have a solid understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems, along with proficiency in common applications and tools, such as Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Familiarity with antivirus software is also important. A good knowledge of networking protocols and devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls, is essential. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a customer-oriented attitude, are a must. You should be capable of working independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will need you to provide technical assistance to our clients. You will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing and configuring new systems, and maintaining network security. Additionally, I expect you to train and support end-users, document procedures and best practices, and collaborate with other IT professionals.
Description
This position is for an experienced IT Support Engineer on a contract basis, with a day rate of £210 inside IR35. The role is based in Hull and requires you to be onsite five days a week. The duration of this contract is three months, starting on Monday, 3rd November.
