Must:
We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing medium to large-scale IT projects, ideally valuing over £1 million, using methodologies such as Prince2 or similar. You should possess strong technical knowledge and understanding of current technologies, as you will be working on a variety of projects including AI, MFA, server upgrades, load balancer replacements, contact center replacements, security projects, endpoint detection initiatives, Livelink to SharePoint migrations, and SQL upgrades. Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills are essential, along with the ability to influence and adapt to deliver customer-focused solutions. A resilience and continuous improvement mindset will also be key attributes for success in this role.
Responsibilities
In your role as IT Project Manager, you will manage complex IT projects that involve multiple technical and business workstreams. Your primary objective will be to deliver projects on time and within budget, ensuring they align with their business cases. You will create and maintain all essential project documentation, including plans, initiation documents, and board papers. Identifying, assessing, and managing project risks and issues will be part of your responsibilities, as well as conducting structured tenders in line with the Procurement Act 2023. You will also build and manage positive relationships with third-party suppliers. While you will not immediately be expected to line manage team members, there may be opportunities for you to support and develop staff over time.

We offer a flexible working arrangement, allowing you to work remotely with the requirement to be in our Manchester office once a week. The salary for this position ranges from £48K to £64K depending on experience.
