Requirements
Must:
- Someone reliable, organised, and keen to learn.
- Good communication skills - comfortable speaking with IT and non-IT colleagues.
- Basic IT knowledge or experience in stock/audit roles (ideal but not essential).
- Confident working independently and travelling between sites.
- A full UK driving licence
Responsibilities
- Visiting sites to perform physical audits of laptops, desktops, SIMs, peripherals, and other IT equipment.
- Updating and maintaining the IT asset inventory/CMDB to ensure accuracy.
- Supporting IT equipment deployments, refreshes, and collections at various locations.
- Working with IT teams and local managers to resolve asset discrepancies.
- Assisting with stock checks, spares, and buffer inventory management.
- Coordinating secure disposal of IT kit according to company procedures.
- Producing simple reports and audit summaries for internal use.
Description
We are looking for an IT Asset Analyst to support our clients on-site technology audits, inventory accuracy, and equipment rollouts across multiple business locations. This role is perfect for someone early in their IT journey who enjoys being out in the field, meeting people, and working independently. The position is based in Barton upon Humber with travel around Yorkshire, offering £130 per day for an initial contract of 3 months, with potential for extension.
