Requirements
Must:
- Significant experience in Cyber Security Management
- Strong background in Cyber Defence, including vulnerability management and hardening
- Expertise in cloud, email, and web security
- Experience in incident response
- Ability to manage a diverse team and influence senior stakeholders
- Resilient mindset with strong leadership skills
- Capacity to transition between hands-on and hands-off management styles
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of five in a project-heavy, 4th-line function
- Focus on developing future-state cyber defences
- Stay ahead of the threat landscape to recommend appropriate controls and products
- Influence senior stakeholders and manage a variety of personalities
- Deliver on projects while balancing hands-on and strategic oversight

We are a global-reaching client looking for a Cyber Security Manager with expertise in Cyber Defence, based in our Newcastle offices. We offer a hybrid working model of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. Our team is dedicated to enhancing cyber security and you will play a crucial role in leading our efforts in this area.
