Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience developing Microsoft Dynamics NAV (NAV 2016+), including upgrading custom solutions and migrating from C/AL to AL.
- Strong technical expertise in C/SIDE, C/AL, and AL programming.
- Proficient in creating custom functionality using AL extensions.
- Skilled in translating functional requirements into clear technical specifications and solutions.
- Strong documentation skills for technical requirements and custom development specs.
- Familiar with Microsoft SQL Server, XML, APIs, and other OOP languages (e.g., C#, Java).
- Experienced with DevOps, GitHub, and automated testing tools.
- Knowledge of ISO9001 and ISO27001 standards and integrated management systems.
- Consultancy experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV/BC implementations.
- Familiar with third-party NAV/BC tools such as Tasklet Mobile WMS, Continia, and Zetadocs.
- Confident team collaborator.
- Commercially aware with a strong understanding of business needs.
- Holds a degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
Responsibilities
As a Microsoft Dynamics NAV/BC Developer, I will be a key player in supporting and developing our C/AL applications, handling development-related support tickets, and collaborating closely with stakeholders to clarify specifications for smooth handovers. I will engage in the full development lifecycle, writing clean code, producing solid technical documentation, estimating effort for planning, and ensuring quality through peer reviews. I’ll uphold Microsoft and Ingenica coding standards while supporting implementations of Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Business Central. I will also manage the end-to-end preparation and release of software updates.
