Must:
We require an experienced software engineer with a passion for enabling developer flow and building efficient build experiences. You should have deep experience with Bazel and scaling large monorepo-based codebases that consist of millions of lines of code. We’re looking for someone who is eager to own, maintain, and assist in migrating complex build systems to Bazel. Proficiency in Java, Python, Starlark, and TypeScript is mandatory. A strong desire to maximize developer productivity through expert problem-solving skills is essential.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be part of our Platform Developer Experience (PDX) R&D Studio, where you'll be responsible for driving the next generation of developer tooling. Your work will involve improving core engineering infrastructure, including our VCS and CI systems. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will collaborate with the team to build a unified, robust, and scalable monorepo ecosystem that enhances the developer experience.
Description
We offer a fully remote position with the expectation of occasional travel to London. This is a contract role for 6 months, with the potential for extension, and is classified as inside IR35.
