Requirements
Must:
- Strong experience in Swift and native iOS development.
- Experience integrating APIs and third-party tools, especially AI-driven ones.
- Comfortable using DevOps tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar).
- A solid grasp of AI platforms, prompt engineering, or an interest in learning about AI integration in mobile.
- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks and best practices.
- Ability to work closely with designers, engineers, and project managers in a collaborative environment.
- Prior experience managing App Store submissions.
- Based in or able to commute to London for a hybrid or office-based role (4 days/week).
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain iOS applications using Swift, following best practices from both the client and OEMs.
- Collaborate on UI/UX design, DevOps workflow, and priority features with the wider team.
- Participate in code reviews, and efficiently help resolve bugs, changes, and feedback.
- Integrate RESTful APIs with backend teams to deliver seamless mobile functionality.
- Work with AI subsystems, including LLM prompts and tools, to embed intelligent features in mobile apps.
- Write and maintain unit tests using the appropriate test frameworks.
- Handle TestFlight builds and App Store submissions, ensuring smooth release cycles.
- Maintain and update apps for new iOS versions and device compatibility.
- Keep concise technical documentation and collaborate with project managers for regular updates.
