Must:
As the hiring company, we require that candidates bring extensive experience working in a Digital Business Analysis project environment at a senior level. You should also have experience in portfolio management for incoming project ideas, as well as line management capabilities with the ability to coach and mentor others. A BCS Diploma or an equivalent qualification in Business Analysis is essential. Additional qualities that would make you a great fit include an understanding of the water industry, including cultural and regulatory accountabilities, and certification or experience with DevOps tools, processes, and methodologies. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent level qualification in Information Technology or a related field is also desirable.
Responsibilities
In the role of Lead Business Analyst, I will expect you to play a pivotal role in driving our strategic transformation by translating business goals into actionable insights and ensuring that every initiative delivers measurable results. Your responsibilities will include:
- Challenging and influencing stakeholders at the executive level, managing relationships effectively, and ensuring clear and regular communication.
- Managing the pipeline of initiatives, supporting the business in understanding its potential requirements, and defining the business need at an outline level.
- Being accountable for the Business Analysis Approach for projects within your domain, conducting progress reviews, acting as an escalation point, and facilitating remediation.
- Taking a strategic approach to focus on complex solutions and drive new business opportunities.
- Ensuring that the business analysis team complies with our delivery methodologies and processes.
- Driving the prioritization of requirements with Product Owners and Portfolio leads to facilitate decision-making, maximize value, and minimize cost.
- Leading continuous improvement within the Practice and aiding in the adoption of agile principles, practices, and cultural changes.
- Developing the digital skills and capabilities of the business analyst team to meet future business and technology needs.
