Requirements
Must:
- Active eDV Clearance
- Extensive expertise in virtualization technologies
- Strong knowledge of VMware (vSphere) and Hyper-V
- Familiarity with automation and scripting technologies (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Ansible)
- Experience with cloud-based virtualization solutions (e.g., Azure, GCP, AWS)
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards such as ISO 27001 and GDPR
Responsibilities
- Design and implement virtualization solutions using VMware and Hyper-V
- Administer and optimize virtual machines, network resources, and storage within virtual environments to ensure efficiency and peak performance
- Troubleshoot and maintain infrastructure, addressing advanced issues such as VM performance, network connectivity, and storage limitations
- Resolve tier-2 and tier-3 support issues for the virtualization infrastructure
- Apply and uphold security practices, ensuring adherence to relevant industry standards and regulations
- Collaborate with Infrastructure and DevOps teams to integrate virtualization with CI/CD pipelines and other automation frameworks
